The general role of the PA is to support and empower parents to be active in the best interests of our children’s educational lives. Every parent is automatically a member of the Association and a committee is elected each year to represent them. The Parents’ Association works together with the Principal, the Staff and the Board of Management of An Grianán N.S. to build an effective partnership of home and school.
The Parents’ Association gives a voice to parents when creating / reviewing school policies and practices. Through fundraising we aim to improve school facilities and provide extra curricular activities.
